In simple language, Hands and feet work as remote control of our body. Sensitive points of all organs and body parts are located on Hands and feet. We can treat any disorder by stimulating these points.
Plotting of our body on hand and feet is based on law of similarity and polarity. As compared to other reflexology and acupressure methods, the points are plotted on hands and feet according to body anotomy so, there is no need to mugging up location of points. The body and it's corresponding points are in connectivity of each other through energy flow. Whenever organ is affected, corresponding points become tender and when that point is stimulated, organ gets healed. This is how treatment trough Sujok Therapy is done.
In understanding the anatomy of the human body as a whole, the hands and feet themselves represent a smaller, but nevertheless true, mirror image of the whole body. Within this view, the thumbs and large toes represent the head. Also, in addition to serving their normal functions as appendeges to the four limbs (legs and arms), the hands and feet are endowed with an exquisite "remote control" function which can cure diseases throughout the whole body. A knowledge of the principles through hand and foot acupuncture will provide an impressive vehicle for personal and family health care.

The principles of body correspondence structure which apply to the feet are the same as those of the hands: the big toe to the head and neck, the round shaped pad under the big toe to the chest and the palm of the foot to the abdominal area. Respectively, the third and the forth toe correspond to the legs, while the second and the fifth toe to the arms.
The correspondence structure of the toes is more particular. On the left foot: the second toe to the left arm, the third toe to the left leg, the fourth toe to the right leg and the fifth toe to the right arm. The right foot is reversed: the second toe to the right arm, the third toe to the right leg, the fourth toe to the left leg and the fifth to the left arm.
Sujok therapy is a comprehensive healing approach that focuses on the hands (Su) and feet (Jok) and incorporates acupuncture, acupressure, and other traditional medical treatments.
Based on the idea that the hands and feet are miniature representations of the body, with reflex sites corresponding to different organs, systems, and body parts, sujok therapy works. Sujok treatment works by activating these areas to help the body achieve harmony and balance, which helps energy flow and supports the body's inherent healing abilities. Acupressure, acupuncture, magnet treatment, color therapy, and seed therapy are just a few of the techniques that practitioners use on the particular locations on the hands and feet that correspond to the health issues that the patient is experiencing. This stimulation can help with a variety of medical and emotional problems, including pain relief, stress reduction, circulation improvement, immune system stimulation, and more.
